This blog originated with my involvement with Transition Horsham which aims to stimulate local action to tackle the threats of climate change and resource depletion. It now goes beyond my personal "energy descent" to embrace wider but related economic, political and social issues. I can't claim to be any more than a student of these issues. More on the dash for gas
A few weeks ago I commented on the "dash for gas" and speculated a little on possible arguments in favour of it. The following quote from Kevin Anderson of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research puts those speculations into perspective. He says:-
